Details: The Conveyor Components Company, located in Croswell, MI was established in 1965. We are world renown for our quality engineered products. The Company continues to grow through domestic and international sales to bulk material handing and processing industries. Our customers have come to depend on the Conveyor Components Company as a manufacturer of conveyor controls, motion controls, level controls, bin aerators, and conveyor belt cleaners.We are looking for a motivated, resourceful, career-minded electrical engineer.  You must have a Bachelors of Electrical / Electronic Degree from an accredited college.  The person we seek should preferably possess knowledge and experience in embedded and wireless technology, as well as microprocessor programming experience.   Bulk material handling experience a plus, but not mandatory.The basic functions and essential duties of this position are as follows:1.    Contribute to the development of basic concepts for new products and product modifications.2.    Develop new products from a basic concept through release. 3.    Develop test criteria for in house and/or vendor Quality Control programs.4.    Recommend design software and test equipment.                      5.    Plan and execute product design schedule.6.    Coordinate, monitor, and participate in prototyping and testing.            7.    Communicate with vendors to develop sources for new components and/or assemblies.8.    Plan and execute release of all necessary documentation for project.                        9.    Coordinate release of project to Manufacturing Engineering Department.10.  Interface and assist Research & Development personnel during prototyping and testing.                11.  Process requests for custom versions of products within areas of expertise.12.  Assist Quality Control and Manufacturing in troubleshooting problems on products in areas of expertise.  Familiarity with ISO 9000 requirements or other quality control concepts is beneficial.  13.  Keep current with relevant developments in technology. 14.  Process requests for changes to existing products in areas of expertise.15.  Assist in training of other staff members as needed.16.  Assist in development of departmental procedures.    17.  Provide support to the Sales Dept in response to customer questions and issues. 18.  Address issues involving certifications and compliance to standards. 19.  Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
